Fans of the BLACK CROWES are rejoicing after the CHRIS ROBINSON-led band confirmed they are reuniting for a five-night run of live shows in New York.
Reunion rumours spread last summer (04) when the REMEDY group's defunct website suddenly came back online, showing The Black Crowes logo and playing clips of their songs.
The group parted ways in 2002 - following a seven-album career spanning 15 years - with each member focused on pursuing solo adventures.
But brothers RICHARD and Chris Robinson - husband of Hollywood beauty KATE HUDSON - have pledged to bring the band back to life for the five-night residency at Manhattan's Hammerstein Ballroom from 22 to 26 March (05).
However, manager PETE ANGELUS has warned fans the band will wait to "see how these shows at the Hammerstein evolve before giving any further consideration to additional shows."
