JACQUELINE BISSET - BISSET UNDERSTANDS MALE URGES

BULLITT actress JACQUELINE BISSET gets along better with men than women because she empathises with their "predatory" instincts.

Bisset, who has never married despite her sex symbol status, finds it easy to understand male behaviour.

The 61-year-old says, "I've always loved men.

"My problem is that I've probably understood them too well. I realise they are predatory by nature and I have a certain acceptance of the male animal.

"My view is quite simple. When your dog pees on the carpet, you do not give away your dog. You say, 'This dog is special and I have to teach him not to pee on the carpet.'

"I feel exactly the same way about men. They are all different and need to be taught things. So I have never given up on them easily."
