Actor GARY OLDMAN's mounting bills were behind his decision to accept the role in the latest HARRY POTTER film.
The SID AND NANCY star shocked fans when he signed up to play mysterious prisoner SIRIUS BLACK in HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN.
Oldman confesses, "I needed the work, that's the honest answer. I thought it would be nice to earn some money. Pay some bills.
"Also it's a phenomenon, you're joining the family of a cinematic dynasty, I suppose."
