Sunday's (13FEB05) 47th GRAMMY AWARDS ceremony will kick off in spectacular style with back-to-back performances from five of the top nominees.

GWEN STEFANI, MAROON 5, BLACK EYED PEAS, LOS LONELY BOYS and Scottish rockers FRANZ FERDINAND will appear in a grand performance spanning across three stages right at the start of the show.

Eight-time nominee USHER, U2, ALICIA KEYS, KANYE WEST, TIM McGRAW and JENNIFER LOPEZ and MARC ANTHONY are also among the night's performers.

There will also be a tribute to RAY CHARLES featuring BONNIE RAITT and BILLY PRESTON.

But the highlight of Sunday's show in Los Angeles is sure to be the all-star jam session of the BEATLES' ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, which will be available as an iTunes download immediately after the Grammys. All proceeds will go to tsunami relief charities.

BONO, NORAH JONES, STEVIE WONDER and BRIAN WILSON are among the stars who have signed up for that.
