PAUL BETTANY - BETTANY: 'CRUEL SILAS IS GREAT FUN'

Actor PAUL BETTANY loves his character in THE DA VINCI CODE - because it gave him the chance to be horrible to everybody without feeling guilty. Bettany, husband of actress JENNIFER CONNOLLY, finds playing murderous monk SILAS deeply therapeutic. He says, "There's something nice about being able to leave your sense of morality at the door when you come to work in the morning and just be cruel to people all day. It's quite fun."
