A scene in NICOLE KIDMAN's latest movie THE STEPFORD WIVES in which a character is beheaded has led movie lovers to storm out during screenings in New York.
The graphic moment upset members of the audience watching the remake at the city's LOEWS KIPS BAY THEATRE, who found it too harrowing following the real-life beheading of American hostage PAUL M JOHNSON JR in Saudi Arabia on Friday (18JUN04).
And watching the scene proved too emotional for some, who decided they'd rather leave than endure the end of the film .
