OZZY OSBOURNE - BED-RIDDEN OZZY PULLS OUT OF ROYAL SHOW

Eccentric rocker OZZY OSBOURNE's injuries from last year's (03) quad bike accident have worsened again, forcing him to pull out of Britain's prestigious ROYAL VARIETY PERFORMANCE, which is being filmed tonight (14DEC04).

The former BLACK SABBATH star was looking forward to making his only live UK appearance of the year at the London Coliseum, in front of British royal PRINCE CHARLES, but the metal plate he had inserted after the accident has become so painful he will be bed-ridden until doctors make surgical adjustments.

Ozzy will be replaced by his wife SHARON and daughter KELLY who will send his apologies to the audience and the show's stars, which will include LIZA MINNELLI and SIR ELTON JOHN.

A statement from his record company explains, "Adjustments need to be made to the plate which is making Ozzy very uncomfortable at present.

"Although having made a remarkable recovery from the life-threatening accident, Ozzy needs the procedure as soon as possible."
