Actress KATE BECKINSALE has been dropped from the third installment of the UNDERWORLD film series. The star's husband, writer and director LEN WISEMAN, is penning a prequel to the first two films - but Beckinsale's character, the leather clad avenger SELENA, won't be needed, according to moviehole.net She explains, "I think it's prequel before I'm actually in it, so I think that won't include me if it happens."
