The BEASTIE BOYS compiled their latest concert DVD by giving 50 fans in the crowd video cameras. The hip-hop group claims the spontaneous decision came to them after seeing an uploaded recording of one of their gigs on the internet, taken with a fan's mobile phone camera. Frontman MIKE D, says, "It really wasn't thought out that much. Literally two or three days before the show at Madison Square Garden, we were like, 'Oh, we should film the thing,' and (ADAM) YAUCH goes, 'Oh yeah, I've got this idea...' "And then we sort of went the next day and got the cameras and the next day we did the show." Bass player Yauch continues, "And the next day we returned the cameras. I was surprised but yes, we did (get them all back). But we did take their driving licences."
