British actor SEAN BEAN has had $960 (GBP500) worth of belongings stolen in a burglary at his plush London home.
The 45-year-old LORD OF THE RINGS hunk recently returned home to find his home had been ransacked by thieves. Police believe the culprits were disturbed, because the actor's DVD player had been left behind.
A police source says, "The thieves didn't escape with much - just a handful of personal items.
"But it is an unpleasant experience. The investigation is on-going."
