The return of BATTLESTAR GALLACTICA has been an out-of-this world success for America's SCI FI CHANNEL.
The network has ordered a second season of the TV hit after airing just five episodes of the revamped show, which initially went off air in 1979 after a year-long run.
The series, starring JAMES EDWARD OLMOS and MARY McDONNELL, has been number one in its Friday night timespot since it began, with more than three million viewers tuning in weekly.
