MISCHA BARTON - BARTON'S OC LESSON IN LOVE

MISCHA BARTON has learned much about men on the set of teen drama THE OC, and is sure her heart will never be broken again.

The British-born actress is grateful for the show's relationship advice storylines, and hopes she won't repeat the mistakes made by her character MARISSA COOPER.

When asked what she has been taught, she replies, "That a relationship will never work out when you're being jerked around. There are no long-term aspects to a guy who's being mean to you or not consistently kind.

"What I've learned is that those kinds of guys don't stick around. A girl wants security."
