THE OC - BARTON'S WOOING CONFUSION

THE OC star MISCHA BARTON finds it hard to feel flattered when men try to woo her - because she fears they're just talking to her as part of a dare.

The London-born beauty, who's dating oil heir and actor BRANDON DAVIS, is never quite sure whether she should take it seriously when a member of the opposite sex approaches her.

She says, "When (guys) talk to me now, I always feel like it's some kind of practical joke, like their friends are in the background going, 'Hit on the girl from The OC.'"
