THE OC - BARTON MAKES ACTING, NOT MODELLING, HER PRIORITY

THE OC star MISCHA BARTON has ruled out a return to modelling, because she doesn't want to spend her time worrying about her weight and be thought of as "stupid".

As a 10-year-old, Barton - now 18 - starred in a CALVIN KLEIN campaign but, aside from her contract with NEUTROGENA, she now turns down offers to model to concentrate on her acting career.

She says, "I could never be a model. I couldn't stand the pressure about one's weight and personal image. It's far worse than acting.

"Models are viewed as stupid, too."
