THE OC - BARTON LAUGHS OFF HILTON FEUD

THE OC beauty MISCHA BARTON has laughed off reports she fought with hotel heiress PARIS HILTON at a Hollywood party - insisting they were just play-fighting.

The English-born actress, who plays troubled teen MARISSA COOPER in the hit TV show, allegedly clashed with THE SIMPLE LIFE reality star, who is a long-term pal of Barton's oil heir boyfriend BRANDON DAVIS.

But Barton says, "Paris and I were at a party and we were playing on the lawn and chasing each other, calling each other silly names. Someone overheard us and blabbed that we were in a real fight.

"Paris and I laugh about it every time we see each other."
