LIBERTINES - BARAT TURNS TO THE FAMILIAR

Former LIBERTINES star CARL BARAT has recruited a familiar face to help him launch his new group - former bandmate GARY POWELL.

Just months after he split the band to go solo, Barat has reunited with drummer Powell, and the pair are now searching for a guitarist to complete the new-look act.

A source reveals, "Gary's definitely in. Carl doesn't want to be a traditional solo artist, so he's putting together another band to record and tour all the new songs he's written."
