Supermodel TYRA BANKS is urging modelling agency bosses to police the industry's drug abuse problems in a bid to make sure KATE MOSS is the last victim.

Banks, who is planning to retire from the business at the end of 2005, admits she was saddened to hear of Moss' recent cocaine scandal because she admires her as a fellow model and "a pioneer" but hopes her drug problems will prompt modelling bosses to stamp out drug use.

The Victoria's Secret model-turned-talk show host says, "It kind of angers me and it saddens me that Kate Moss is becoming this poster child for this, but, at the same time, when something negative happens, something good hopefully comes out of it.

"So, maybe this is sending a message that this is a problem in the modelling industry and something needs to be done about it.

"Hopefully, Kate, what you are going through... is helping so many young women."

Moss was released from an Arizona rehabilitation clinic last month (OCT05), where she was admitted following the publication of images showing her snorting cocaine in September (05).
