ANTONIO BANDERAS - BANDERAS FORBIDS GRIFFITH'S COSMETIC SURGERY

Spanish heart-throb ANTONIO BANDERAS has threatened to divorce actress MELANIE GRIFFITH if she has any more cosmetic surgery.

The MASK OF ZORRO star was furious about his wife's notorious Botox injections and extensive surgical enhancements so has banned her from having any more age-defying treatments for the sake of their relationship.

The 43-year-old explains, "This lust for beauty is a terrible thing. I have forbidden her from ever going to a cosmetic surgeon again.

"It's something we have agreed on for the sake of our marriage. When women cross 40 or 45 in Hollywood, forget it. It's a factory that needs fresh flesh all the time."

Banderas, who recently provided the voice for a cartoon cat in new animated movie SHREK 2, is passionate about the film's heart-warming message.

He explains, "Shrek says that love isn't about beauty, but what is on the inside."
