MYSTIC RIVER - BACON IN THE DOGHOUSE

MYSTIC RIVER star KEVIN BACON got on the wrong side of wife KYRA SEDGWICK when he turned up late for a theatre date - dressed in clothes she didn't approve.

The FOOTLOOSE actor - who has been married to Sedgwick since 1988 - was due to see play MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING in Central Park, New York with his wife last week (ends16JUL04) but failed to arrive at the scheduled time.

But instead of keeping her rage to herself, Sedgwick lambasted her tardy husband and slammed him over his choice of outfit too.
