Screen veteran LAUREN BACALL has urged the British government to abolish its strict quarantine laws - because she's furious her beloved dog is banned from sharing her flights into the country.
The BIRTH star, 80, is horrified the dog-loving nation forces her to travel via France, because they won't allow her pet pooch SOPHIE to travel with her.
She fumes, "Dear old England, I could kill them. It's so condescending and infuriating.
"I never expected the dog-loving British to be like that. I have to fly via France, give her tic things and tapeworm pills, and then take EUROSTAR."
