HANK AZARIA uses key torture to stop himself from breaking out into a fit of giggles when he's performing onstage.

The ALONG CAME POLLY star admits he struggled to keep a straight face during his time on ERIC IDLE comedy musical MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT on Broadway, New York.

So Azaria found an ingenious way to keep himself from having hysterical fits.

He explains, "My biggest problem on stage is laughing, and once I start it's hard to stop.

"I carry a key with me, and if I know I'm getting into trouble, I'll dig it into the palm of my hand and cause myself physical pain... It really hurts."
