ASHANTI - ASHANTI AND BEYONCE SING TOGETHER TO DAMPEN FEUD

R+B star ASHANTI is to team up with pop superstar BEYONCE KNOWLES to dampen rumours of rivalry between them.

The 24-year-old singer recently slammed suggestions she took an endorsement deal with hair care firm HERBAL ESSENCES to compete with the DESTINY'S CHILD star, who has a deal with L'OREAL.

The FOOLISH hitmaker is also keen to get R+B singer MARY J BLIGE involved in the project.

Ashanti says, "When you get two women making hot music, comparisons are going to be made and talk of feuds begins.

"I admire what she does and don't have a problem with her. I've talked about making a record with other strong females.

"I'd love to do something with Mary."
