ASH frontman TIM WHEELER was delighted when his friend CHRIS MARTIN married Hollywood A-lister GWYNETH PALTROW, but insists he's not jealous of the singer's fame and fortune.

The GIRL FROM MARS star admits he's in awe of the success Martin's band COLDPLAY have achieved, but would find the hysteria that surrounds him too much to handle.

He says, "I'm very pleased for Chris and what he has achieved but I wouldn't swap my life for his.

"I would love to have his success but without the madness that goes with it."
