SHERYL CROW's cyclist fiance LANCE ARMSTRONG has become the latest celebrity to win a cyber-squatting battle after fighting to secure the domain rights to two websites containing the name of his fundraising LiveStrong bracelets.

The seven-time Tour De France champion contended the sites, www.livestrongbracelets.net and www.talk-livestrong.com, infringed on his trademark rights and had been registered in "bad faith."

Arbitrators for the World Intellectual Property Organization (corr) agreed with Armstrong, upheld his complaint and ordered the domain names be transferred to the cyclist.

Other celebrities who have won battles to reclaim websites created to fool their fans include MADONNA, CARMEN ELECTRA and PIERCE BROSNAN.
