LANCE ARMSTRONG - ARMSTRONG PRAISES CROW'S SUPPORT

Cycling champion LANCE ARMSTRONG has praised his rocker girlfriend SHERYL CROW for performing "wifely duties" as he competes in this year's (04) TOUR DE FRANCE.

The Texan sports hero has been dating the ALL I WANNA DO singer since last year (03) and was delighted when Crow took time out of her recording and performing duties to support him during the French competition.

Armstrong says, "Sheryl's a great girl, and obviously more than just a friend. She's been there every day for me, and she has a big life.

"She's not just a bike fan - she's also a rock star.

"It's a big commitment on her part to live a life of a cycling girlfriend or wife, and do laundry and cook food, and do all of the things that wives or girlfriends do."
