LANCE ARMSTRONG - ARMSTRONG CREDITS SHERYL FOR HER SUPPORT

TOUR DE FRANCE champion LANCE ARMSTRONG has credited his girlfriend SHERYL CROW's support with helping him make history in Paris, France, on Sunday (25JUL04).

Crow has been a constant companion for the cyclist as he trained for a record-breaking sixth Tour De France win, and she joined fellow stars like WILL SMITH and ROBIN WILLIAMS to cheer her man on at the weekend.

And a thrilled Armstrong, a cancer survivor, admits he doubts he would have had the strength to win big without the rocker.

He says, "She helped a lot. For us to be together this year, and for her to take the year off to be committed to trying to make history helped me make history. It was huge."
