CHRISTINA APPLEGATE - APPLEGATE'S FALSE TOOTH TRAUMA

Actress CHRISTINA APPLEGATE's was devastated when her false tooth was trapped in a ham sandwich as she shot a commercial.

The VIEW FROM THE TOP star had a dentist who constructed false teeth especially for her so she could have a perfect smile for the numerous adverts she appeared in but the blonde beauty was "traumatised" when her "dental aids" - nicknamed "flippers" - were lodged in the SPAM roll in front of the hysterical film crew.

She says, "One time I got a commercial for some sort of canned ham, which is just delectable! The reason I got the commercial is because I was the only kid who had all her teeth. No , we weren't in the south, we were here (Los Angeles). I'm kidding!

"So I got the commercial because I had all my teeth, but then when we went to shoot the scene I took a big bite of the spam ham thing and the whole flipper was still in the sandwich. There I was with one tooth hanging out.

"It was horrible! I was petrified and I started crying. I said, 'Mommy, mommy, my teeth came out!' But it was all good. We cleaned the thing off and stuck it back in!"
