GWYNETH PALTROW - APPLE'S BACK OF BUS CREATION

GWYNETH PALTROW and CHRIS MARTIN conceived baby APPLE on the back of COLDPLAY's tour bus - according to road crew calculations.

One deep-thinking member of the travelling team has worked out the intimate occasion - which resulted in Apple's birth in May (04) - actually occurred in the midst of the YELLOW band's 2003 tour, reports British newspaper the DAILY EXPRESS.

And the married couple managed to land the best, most spacious room on the otherwise cramped bus.

He says, "The bunk beds are tiny and you have to slide in horizontally.

"But Chris and Gwyneth got the back section of the coach that converts into a double bed, separate from the rest of the band."
