MARC ANTHONY - ANTHONY INTRODUCES 'FRIEND' LOPEZ TO FANS

Salsa star MARC ANTHONY is still refusing to confirm he has married superstar JENNIFER LOPEZ, after introducing the stunning Latina as "a really good friend".

The I NEED TO KNOW singer and J.Lo wed in secret on 5 June (04), after only four months of dating, and both have refused to discuss their marriage, or even acknowledge it has taken place.

At Anthony's New York city gig on Sunday (17OCT04) at the Roseland Ballroom, the singer pointed to his wife as he sang in Spanish; THERE'S NOBODY LIKE HER.

Towards the end of his gig, Anthony introduced Lopez as "a woman who has dedicated her life to representing Puerto Ricans. A really, really good friend of mine - Jennifer Lopez."

A loved-up Lopez watched on admiringly with her mother GUADALUPE and TV presenter sister LYNDA LOPEZ.

At a sound check earlier in the day, Anthony told a group of fans he has found 2004 very challenging due to the media attention surrounding his marriage to Lopez and his divorce from DAYANARA TORRES.

He says, "It's been really crazy... Don't believe everything you read!"
