Actress ANNA PAQUIN stores her ACADEMY AWARD in her closet - because she fears it will upset her pals when it's on display.
The 20 year-old brunette, who scooped the coveted best supporting actress OSCAR at the tender age of 11 for in 1993's THE PIANO, says she'd prefer for her award to stay in the background so that nobody focuses on it.
She explains, "If it were out on a shelf, it would make my friends feel uncomfortable. I'm looking for friends, but people who put me on a pedestal."
