Veteran movie actress ANGELICA HUSTON has a secret passion for cleaning.

The ROYAL TENENBAUMS star - who was JACK NICHOLSON's longterm girlfriend - admits to being obsessive in her quest for cleanliness.

Angelica says, "I like everything to be just so. At home, I like to clean. I have someone to do all that, but if they aren't there for any reason I can't leave it.

"It makes me everyone grumpy, but I just have to do it myself, down on my hands and knees.

"There is always something to do. If I'm not cleaning, I'll be gardening or weeding or tidying. It's some kind of syndrome. I don't like mess."
