JENNIFER ANISTON has found a way of calming her nerves on plane flights - reading heartfelt letters from her pals and popping stage fright pills.
The FRIENDS star has a famous fear of flying that she has been desperately trying to control for years - and she's found an odd way of coping onboard.
When she recently flew to Malta to visit husband BRAD PITT on the set of his new movie TROY, the actress asked her girlfriends to write her take-off notes - so she could read them in a bid to take her mind off flying.
She explains, "I read these so I wasn't listening to every sound. I was expecting these little notes like, 'Have a good time,' and I get these love letters.
"I was weeping on the airplane. I'm a lucky girl, I've got the best girlfriends. It sounds really corny."
The heartfelt notes made Aniston so upset she had to be comforted by fellow passenger MICHAEL FLATLEY. And, if the actress runs out of notes to read, she resorts to popping pills.
She adds, "I've just started taking medication for stage fright."
