JENNIFER ANISTON - ANISTON'S DAD TRIED TO STOP HER ACTING

Hollywood actress JENNIFER ANISTON almost became a lawyer when her actor father nearly succeeded in putting her off joining an acting school.

The FRIENDS star - who's married to movie hunk BRAD PITT - received no encouragement from dad JOHN ANISTON, who stars in American soap DAYS OF OUR LIVES, who thought acting was too risky a profession for his daughter to enter.

Jennifer says, "He never let me on set. I remember visiting once or twice. I wasn't allowed to watch TV until I was a teenager.

"I remember when I wanted to go to Performing Arts, the high school, and he just said, 'Don't. Don't do it, don't do it. Be a doctor, be a lawyer."
