JENNIFER ANISTON has reached an out-of-court settlement with the man who allegedly distributed topless photographs of her.

Snapper FRANCOIS NAVARRE has reportedly agreed to pay the FRIENDS star a $550,000 (GBP323,500) settlement to end a suit accusing him of "invasion of privacy, trespass and misappropriation of Aniston's name and likeness", according to the actress' publicist.

Francois has accepted he illegally distributed photographs of Aniston sunbathing topless.

The photographs appeared in European magazines before being circulated in 1999 in American soft porn titles. Aniston has accepted the photographer's claims that he was not the trespasser who scaled the wall of her home to shoot the photos.
