JENNIFER ANISTON - ANISTON MOVED TO TEARS BY MOTHER'S MEMOIRS

JENNIFER ANISTON was brought to tears by her first look at her estranged mother's memoirs.

The FRIENDS star refused to read NANCY ANISTON's revealing tome, FROM MOTHER + DAUGHTER TO FRIENDS, when it first hit bookshelves in 1999 because her mum had gone against her wishes and written it.

But when American broadcaster DIANE SAWYER ripped pages of photos out of the book and handed them to Aniston on news show PRIMETIME THURSDAY on Thursday night (15JAN04), the actress had to reach for a tissue.

She sniffed, "My God, where did you get that? Wow, I never saw this. I'm sorry," and then looking at old photographs of her estranged mother, she added, "Isn't she gorgeous."
