FRIENDS actress JENNIFER ANISTON is planning to reinvent herself, as a pop star.

The sexy star's husband BRAD PITT reportedly fitted a state-of-the-art recording studio in their Hollywood home last month (FEB04) as a birthday present for Aniston - and she's planning to use it to record her own music.

A source close to the actress - out of work since shooting finished on the hit sitcom in January (04) - says, "Jennifer secretly wants a singing career and always does karaoke around LA whenever she can.

"So now she can practice in the privacy of her own home.

"She's thinking of recording children's songs."
