Former FRIENDS star JENNIFER ANISTON is getting political in a series of hard-hitting new TV ads aimed at prompting women to vote in the upcoming presidential elections in America.

In the public service announcements, the actress asks, "Would you let someone else choose your clothes? Or your husband?" in a bid to get the importance of voting across to the apathetic 22 million single women, who didn't vote in 2000.

The PSA, which starts airing on Wednesday (06OCT04), is part of a campaign by pro-voting organisation WOMEN'S VOICES.
