JENNIFER ANISTON - ANISTON: 'CHILDHOOD TRAUMA BLIGHTED MY MARRIAGE'

FRIENDS star JENNIFER ANISTON blames the breakdown of her marriage with BRAD PITT on her unhappy childhood.

The 36-year-old actress, who announced her split from the TROY actor in January (05), admits her marriage dragged up memories of her parents' stormy relationship and subsequent divorce.

As a result, Aniston felt "fear, mistrust, doubt and insecurities" during her time with Pitt.

Aniston says, "When your parents split up, it's impossible to delude yourself about fairytale romance and happy endings.

"Marriage actually brought up all the sorts of things I pushed on to the back burner."

Aniston claims life with Hollywood hunk Pitt could be "rough and nasty" but confesses her negative attitude played a part in ruining their romance.

The actress was even labelled 'The Leaker' by Pitt, because she cried so much.

She adds, "I'm a total worrier and not good at hearing positive things. Brad's a gentleman. He totally accepted me with all my dysfunction and struggles.

"Divorce is hard."
