PETE BURNS - ANGRY BURNS JAILED FOR ATTACKING EX

Eighties pop star PETE BURNS was arrested last night (16APR04) after he allegedly attacked ex-boyfriend MICHAEL SIMPSON in a jealous rage. Burns, who recently starred on British reality TV show CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER, was reportedly furious when Simpson arrived at London's Ghetto Club with his new boyfriend - just weeks after they split. Clubbers were forced to take cover as friends of Burns and Simpson became involved in the fracas. A clubber tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "Michael arrived and suddenly there was all this shouting and screaming. Pete saw Michael and went for him." Two men were arrested and later bailed by police following the altercation.
