MURDER, SHE WROTE star ANGELA LANSBURY is in the process of "adjusting" her life, following the death of her husband of 54 years PETER SHAW.
Former agent and producer Shaw died from heart failure on 29 January (03), leaving the British-born actress devastated.
She says, "For so many years he was my guide and keeper of details, so now I'm sharpening up a whole new set of organisational skills.. It's good for me, good for my memory."
Lansbury intends to master the planning and promotional aspects of her career, which she admits she knew about but didn't have to keep in order before.
She adds, "I don't want to think of stopping what I do, although it's easy to fall into a lethargic state, especially when you lose someone in your life.
"But I feel I have Peter right here with me - in my pocket, in my heart - and I think he will approve of what I'm doing. I'm an energetic and hopeful kind of person, and I think it's important to stay active. I'm fact, I'm looking forward to a new career."
Lansbury, who's TV movie MURDER, SHE WROTE: THE CELTIC RIDDLE debuts next month (MAY03), plans to producer more projects with her and Peter's sons.
