KELLY CLARKSON - AMERICAN IDOL TURNS NURSE TO ALLERGIC TOUR PAL

Singer KELLY CLARKSON had to take a crash course in allergy awareness when she toured America with fellow AMERICAN IDOL star CLAY AIKEN - because so many things effect his health.

The odd couple shared the same tour bus, and Clarkson had to act as Aiken's nurse at times - when the sickly singer came into contact with nuts.

She recalls, "He's allergic to everything... like shellfish, mushrooms, nuts that grow on trees.

"You have to take a course because I rode with him on the same bus and anytime you're near him you have to know you have to shove this needle in his thigh if anybody touches him that has touched nuts or anything. It's horrible."
