AMERICAN IDOL - AMERICAN IDOL SCANDAL AS CONTESTANT LIES ABOUT HER PAST

The producers of TV talent show AMERICAN IDOL have been hit with another scandal after learning contestant SHARON GALVEZ lied about her professional background.

The so-called hopeful, who signed up for the show as an amateur, used to sing in a professional group called SMOKEY MOUNTAIN in the 1990s.

Back then, she performed as ZHAR SANTOS when the group toured through the Philippines, where they sold out concerts.

Producers haven't decided whether or not to take action and kick Galvez off the show.
