Allen Doesn't Care If His Team Wins
Film-maker WOODY ALLEN is an avid supporter of basketball team the NEW YORK KNICKS - but he couldn't care less if they win or lose.
Allen, who has been an ardent fan of the team for decades, is more interested in the game itself than the final score.
He explains, 'I don't have any fun at all when there's five minutes left and our boys are crushing the opponents by 20 points.
"I definitely lack the winning-is-all-that-matters personality of the truly orthodox.
"My allegiance, I must admits, is to see exciting basketball. Theatre is more important to me than the outcome."
