COLIN SALMON - ALIEN VS PREDATOR ROLE WRITTEN FOR SALMON

British actor COLIN SALMON's role in ALIEN VS PREDATOR was written especially for him after the movie's director felt guilty for killing him off in an earlier film.

PAUL WES ANDERSON created the role for the JAMES BOND star in the sci-fi movie after killing him off in 2002 action hit RESIDENT EVIL.

Salmon says, "I think he felt bad, and the response to the character was so positive he felt it would be good to bring me back.

"And we work together well. I met him for SHOPPING and I thought he was arrogant.

"I met him for EVENT HORIZON, and that was better.

"Then I met him again for Resident Evil by which time I just said, 'What's the point, mate?'"
