BLUR - ALBARN SOFA UP FOR SALE

BLUR frontman DAMON ALBARN has put a custom-built sofa up for sale on internet auction site EBAY.CO.UK.

The auction closes tomorrow night (16FEB05) with the bidding currently standing at $380 (GBP200) - the luxury 12-piece item of furniture used to take pride of place in the SONG 2 singer's former London home.

The description on eBay reads, "This unique electric blue 12 piece sofa is being sold by the owners of Damon Albarn's former residence on Chesterton Road. Commissioned by the Blur frontman it was custom-made for the ground floor sitting-room of the house where he lived for five years and wrapped around three walls of this room."
