AKON - AKON INSPIRED BY BOYS NIGHT OUT

R+B newcomer AKON felt inspired to write his latest song BELLYDANCER after a raucous night out with his male pals.

The LONELY hitmaker, who spent time in prison for car theft charges, couldn't wait to visit a strip club after his release from jail.

He says, "Bellydancer is the fun part of the album.

"That was the first record that I wrote when I came out of jail, the boys came to pick me up, we went straight to the strip club.

"We had mad fun that day, that pretty much influenced that record. I came home and wrote about it and that was originally supposed to be the first single.

"That's the single that the label was pushing, and I was like no, that's not it. That record didn't define me as an artist."
