CHRISTINA AGUILERA has slammed her management company for "whoring" her as a "manufactured pop tart" early in her career.

The DIRRTY singer has re-entered the pop fray over the last year with a controversial new raunchy image - after originally breaking through in 1999 with GENIE IN A BOTTLE, when she was a tender 18-year-old.

But Christina remains upset at the image her management team thrusted upon her.

She angrily explains, "Before, as a teenager, I was pretty much a manufactured bubblegum pop tart. Or that's what my management were whoring me out as.

"It got my foot in the door, sure, but as I've grown into a woman I could see I was changing and that sweet, blonde, good-girl just wasn't me. Pretty? F*** I hate pretty."
