CHRISTINA AGUILERA - AGUILERA STAYS AWAY FROM SINGER FILM ROLES

Sexy star CHRISTINA AGUILERA has made a pop at her rivals BRITNEY SPEARS and EMINEM, by saying she would never play a singer in a movie.

The FIGHTER hitmaker is planning her Hollywood career very carefully and is adamant she won't make a film too similar to her own life, like Spears' flop CROSSROADS, Eminem's semi-autobiographical 8 MILE or MARIAH CAREY's GLITTER.

Aguilera says, "Not any old movie. I'm waiting for the right role with a certain level of quality.

"I have to be patient. I'm in this for the marathon, not the 50-yard race. So many singers make movies where they play singers. I want something different."
