Pop superstar CHRISTINA AGUILERA has slammed the music industry for being fake and malicious.

The DIRRTY singer complains she has struggled to remain successful because she's surrounded by untrustworthy people who are desperate to destroy her reputation.

She explains, "Showbiz is a crazy world and so are the people in it. And that includes me. Showbusiness is a fake business filled with people who are fake.

"You are surrounded by people, each one more false than the other, always ready to step on you. Either you quickly learn to survive or you fail, you lose everything as quickly as you find success."
