Pop star CHRISTINA AGUILERA cashed $2 million (GBP1.1 million) to sing for an hour at a Russian billionaire's star-studded wedding in the south of France at the weekend (03/04SEP05).
Wealthy businessman ANDREY MELNICHENKO ordered a private jet to fly the DIRRTY hitmaker and her fiance JORDAN BRATMAN to his marriage ceremony in Antibes, to perform for his new bride - model ALEXANDRA KOKTOVIC.
Following the 24-year-old on stage was WHITNEY HOUSTON and ENRIQUE IGLESIAS - who duetted with his famous father JULIO.
A source reveals, "Christina did a brilliant job. There wasn't a dry eye in the house when she sang Beautiful.
"But no one suspected how much she'd been paid - it's like winning the lottery for her."
